Danielle attends True Vine Pentecostal Church, under the pastoralship of Pastor Tom Durrance. Together, Danielle and her husband Rene have served in various ministries and departments. Danielle has also served in the So-Cal District as a Speaker in various conferences, speaking to minister's and pastor's wives, young and the older ladies on various topics that include self-esteem, body issues, identity and sexual purity.
Danielle currently teaches General Psychology for Christian Life College.
Danielle received a Bachelor of Arts from Christian Life College and a Masters of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy from Hope International University. Danielle is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 16 years of experience in the mental health field. Danielle has gained much of her expertise in working with teens, couples, adults and families by working for the County of Riverside, as well the Public Educational System, where she worked with intense cases as well as served as a first responding mental health support clinician to over 1,800 minors.
Danielle currently works in private practice and continues to be sought after for case consultations by former cohorts. Danielle specializes in working with a range of difficulties, from stress, anxiety and depression, to relationship problems - with a specialty in addressing trauma and abuse issues as she is certified in Trauma Focused CBT. Working intensely with adolescents for a lengthy period of time has given Danielle a rich experience in family-dynamics, as she supports parents in meaningful and empathic ways, teaching parents how to cultivate and encourage growth and wholeness in their children. Danielle also assists couples with healing their broken relationships through healing first from their childhood wounds and letting go of long-sustained unhealthy patterns of doing relationship with others.
Danielle’s passion is to always serve the Lord with all of her heart, placing her full trust in Him daily. She one day aspires to open a Christian group practice and hopes to mentor other therapists, as well as hopes to continue the increase of service to people.
On top of her ministerial and private practice responsibilities, her number one priority is her family. Danielle enjoys homeschooling her 2 miracle kids, Gigi, 8 and Liam, 4, and being a mom who cooks, enjoys baking and the outdoors, as well as spending time with her best friend and husband Rene.
