I have been a Licensed UPCI minister for nearly 4 decades and an Ordained UPCI minister for 3 decades. I love serving God, God's people, and people in general. After completing my Graduate program, internships, and supervision, I passed the Board of Examiner's State Exam for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I am licensed in the States of Louisiana and Texas. I hold a BA in Biblical Theology, a BS in Psychology, a BS in Addiction Studies, and an MA in Marriage & Family Therapy. I am also a Certified Telementalhealth provider. I do not work with children under the age of 12. I welcome all other clients and especially enjoy pre-marital or marriage counseling. I work as a non-medical psychotherapist. I believe that a counseling relationship built upon trust and honesty is vital to successful outcomes. I am solution focused, placing great emphasis on hope in the moment and in the future no matter the problem. God's Word is our primary guide to freedom and joy. Much of my professional work has been as a Therapist in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) working with adolescents with multiple mental and or behavioral disorders. My private practice has been focused on young adults and adults as well as couples with various concerns. I look forward to working with you!
