Tenssie Ramsay

Tenssie V. Ramsay is a licensed professional counselor who has been serving in the Mental Health field for over 8 years. Her specialty involves individual, family, domestic violence and group counseling. She works in inner city Bridgeport, Connecticut with a case load ranging from children, adolescents, young people and older population. Tenssie is also a qualified Circle of Security (COS) facilitator and a Parent Education Program (PEP) Instructor. Tenssie attended University of Bridgeport where she gained her MS in Clinical Mental health and later attained her licensure through the Connecticut State Department of Public Health. Tenssie was employed in the same non-profit agency where she did her internship after college until December, 2021. Tenssie started her own private practice shortly after leaving the non-profit and currently owns and operates her private practice - CareWings Counseling LLC. located at 1000 Lafayette Boulevard, Bridgeport CT 06604. Tenssie continues to serve the inner city population with the same passion and dedication and when not in counseling sessions, Tenssie ministers to her students in the Beginners/Primary class at her church, leading a prayer group or is singing on the choir.
