Experience | Stephanie Willey is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed in Georgia, with experience counseling children, adolescents, and adults. Stephanie received a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Grand Valley State University, followed by a Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago. She has worked with DCFS children to help stabilize homes, taught parents to work through difficult behaviors, counselled adults in a HIV/AIDS clinic, and most recently served all ages and walks of life through a private practice. Approach | As a therapist, Stephanie knows that life can throw you unplanned curves, with trauma and other stressors seeming to come from nowhere. Regardless of your stage of life, her intention is to help you gain perspective and safely reach your goals. She uses techniques designed to handle your today (cognitive-behavioral approach) and your past (psychodynamic approach) while building coping skills with you. Accessibility | While it may be tempting to delay starting therapy, it’s easier than you realize to take the first step toward improving your anxiety, depression, trauma, family therapy/parental support, anger management, or self-esteem. Stephanie is currently accepting new clients via telehealth services, and accepts private pay and most insurances.
