Neil Jepson

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

I grew up in Vermont, but have lived in California, Texas, Arizona, and now Illinois. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Northern Arizona University in 1997. I earned a Master's degree in Health Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology in 1999, and completed my Ph.D. in Health Psychology there in 2008. I have been in providing clinical services since 2000. I have worked in a variety of settings and populations, including military and refugee communities, elite athletes., chronic pain patients, addictions, and survivors of trauma. I came to know the Lord in 2013 and have since been following a call to ministry. I hold General License with the UPCI and I serve the Lord as Outreach Director at Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Bloomington, IL; leading our local Food Pantry, teaching Bible studies in our home, at our church, and at the county jail. I am also Vice President of Research and Development for Apostolic Moral Purity, a ministry helping people who are struggling with pornography and other sexual sins. I was married to my beautiful wife Lisa in March 2020 and we love to serve the Lord together. My experience has shown me that without a strong spiritual foundation, one's success in therapy is very limited. It is important also to understand our flesh and how it works- especially how it works in opposition to the Spirit.
