Maritza Garcia

Maritza graduated with a Master of Science (M.S.) in Counseling, from Southern Methodist University, in 2016. She completed the State of Texas requirements to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She assumed the ownership of Concierge Counseling Service, Inc., an established, private practice founded in 2009. It has since transitioned to Concierge eCare LLC dba Concierge Counseling Services. ​ In 2016, Maritza began a PhD program at Capella University in Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology to expand the scope of her practice. Additionally, she is completing an MS in Clinical Psychology. Maritza has written for various columns and magazines and in 2019, she led a team in the design of a pilot, counseling curriculum for distance-learners. She has served as a community liaison in Euless, Texas; she is a member of the Center for Apostolic Counselors and the Apostolic Chamber of Commerce; she is a member of the Pi Lambda Theta National Honor Society; and her consistently high GPAs have been recognized on Dean’s and President’s Lists. Her passion is working with trauma victims, suicidal prevention, and a range of mental health issues involving pre-teen to adult clients. Her past experience, training, and commitment will continue to guide all future professional endeavors. She also enjoys studying and teaching biblical doctrines. In 2023, she became a licensed counselor in North Carolina and Florida.
