Falicia Miller

Falicia earned her Master's in Licensed Professional Counseling (LPC) from Liberty University (LU) in Lynchburg, Va. in 2016. While at LU she was trained in Christian Counseling and currently holds a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Indiana. She completed the internship in addition to the residency post grad hours while working at the Children's Bureau, Inc's Courage Center as the in-house Therapist. During this time, she worked with children and adolescents that have experienced complex trauma that included physical and sexual abuse, adoption, abandonment, and sex trafficking. During her time at Courage Center, she also taught various training's regarding mental health diagnosis, trauma-informed care, and how to be supportive of clients who have extensive trauma. She earned my undergrad from Indiana Bible College (IBC) in 2010. During that time of Ministry, she was privileged to work with both Church kids and at-risk youth through both Kidz Church and Jesus House 2. Also, during this time, she was part of the Deaf Ministry team interpreting various services, concerts, and leading the Deaf Sign Team. As a counselor, Falicia has been trained and uses the following evidenced-based theories in ACT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (T-FCBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. She has experience working with a variety of clinical diagnosis from the DSM-5. Falicia attends Faith Apostolic Church (FAC) under the leadership of Pastor Matthew Ball. She has been married for 18 years, has three children, and a great pyrenees. She owns Greater Purpose Counseling, LLC in Indiana.
