Kent (K.C.) Holiman

LMSW

I am a therapist and pastor who is passionate about supporting men and adolescent males (ages 11 and up) as they navigate life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and encouraged. My desire is to help individuals grow not only in emotional health, but also in strength, identity, and purpose. As both a clinician and a pastor, I integrate practical, evidence-based strategies with a faith-informed perspective, meeting clients wherever they are in their personal and spiritual journey. My Approach My approach to counseling is practical, structured, and goal-oriented. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while developing healthier patterns that promote lasting change. I also incorporate therapeutic role-playing to help clients build confidence, strengthen communication, and apply new skills in real-life situations. When appropriate, I incorporate biblical principles and spiritual insight to support healing, growth, and transformation. Areas of Focus Anxiety and depression PTSD and trauma-related challenges Emotional regulation and stress management Life transitions and personal growth Positive masculinity and identity development I have a particular passion for working with men as they navigate the unique pressures of modern life—whether as fathers, husbands, or providers. My work emphasizes the development of positive, faith-grounded masculinity, helping clients grow in strength, emotional awareness, responsibility, and resilience while remaining rooted in their identity and calling.
