Crystal Renee Landtroop

Renee holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology: Christian Counseling from Liberty University. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in the state of North Carolina and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Renee is also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). Renee has gained experience in a variety of settings, including clinical work at a local counseling practice and ministry leadership within her church, where she has served for more than 25 years. Renee is passionate about building trusting relationships with her clients and strives to create a safe, supportive environment that is free from shame and judgment. Her counseling approach focuses on developing a deep understanding of each individual, their current struggles, and their life experiences. Renee works to establish meaningful and genuine connections with her clients through warmth, compassion, and understanding. She is also comfortable using a more clinically focused approach when preferred, allowing her to meet each client’s unique needs. Renee enjoys working with adolescents and adults across all stages of life. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, major life transitions, marital growth, parenting challenges, grief and loss, maternal mental health, emotional uncertainty, and relationship concerns. She understands the importance of having someone to lean on during difficult times and values the opportunity to provide support and guidance when it is needed most. Renee is passionate about helping individuals live meaningful and fulfilling lives. She thoughtfully integrates a Christian worldview, biblical principles, and evidence-based clinical practices to provide high-quality care, while respecting each person’s unique faith journey and individual needs.
