Bonnie White

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Mental Health Services and Family Studies from Middle Tennessee State University. I completed my clinical training at The Babb Center, where I worked with individuals, couples, and families navigating concerns such as relationship difficulties, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. During my internship, I gained experience helping clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. My approach to therapy focuses on increasing emotional awareness, understanding relational patterns, and developing practical tools that support lasting change. I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore what is happening beneath the surface and begin moving toward healthier relationships and greater personal clarity. Before entering the counseling field, I spent several years teaching English to adult immigrants and refugees. This experience deepened my appreciation for the courage it takes to navigate unfamiliar environments and strengthened my sensitivity to cultural differences. It also shaped my belief that every person’s story deserves to be heard with curiosity, respect, and compassion. I am currently working under professional supervision until I obtain full licensure. I am only accepting clients in Tennessee.
