Shannon Powell

Shannon Powell is a professional counselor and pastor’s wife who loves helping people experience God’s healing in everyday life. A 2017 Liberty University graduate, she has served full time as a therapist since 2018, working with individuals and couples on marriage, trauma, attachment, depression, and anxiety. Shannon is known for integrating faith with evidence based care, including polyvagal informed approaches that help clients understand and regulate their nervous systems. In her local church, she has served in ladies’ ministries, music ministry, and teaching—creating spaces where women feel seen, safe, and equipped to grow. Married to her husband, Myron, for 31 years, Shannon is the proud mom of two adult children who serve in youth ministry, is joyfully anticipating her first grandbaby, and adores her gentle therapy dog, Dr. Milo, who often brightens the counseling room. Whether she’s counseling, mentoring, or speaking, Shannon blends clinical wisdom with a shepherd’s heart, inviting people to move from overwhelm to hope, from survival to wholeness.
