Hannah McKinnies

Hannah graduated from Indiana University with a B.A in Psychology, and an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. Hannah has experience working in an outpatient hospital, community family violence agency, and has done private practice work. In addition, Hannah has served in several leadership roles at the state level for Texas Marriage and Family Therapy Association, as well as being the chair and co-chair of multiple committees, and has previously been the President of the Texas Student Association of Marriage and Family Therapy when she was a Master's student. She feels counseling is not just her job- it is her calling as a systemic counselor. Hannah works with individuals couples, and especially families with teens and young adults, using a wide- angle lens to uncover the deeper dynamics behind the symptoms. She approaches every client with faith at her core, believing that environment and relationships are everything. He role is not to fix, but to walk alongside others as a servant leader. Offering tools, asking the right questions, and creating a space where trust, vulnerability, and growth can thrive. She is her client’s biggest cheerleader, and she believe the relationships we build is the key to real, lasting, change.
