Lataya Hall

Lataya is a licensed mental health counselor, board-certified Christian counselor, educator, and author. She has a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL, and she is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. She specializes in trauma, grief, loss, depression, mood/anxiety disorders, psychosis, premarital, marriage, and therapy. Lataya is a mental health advocate and serves as the clinical counselor and executive director of CARE Inc. a faith-based nonprofit in Miami, FL. She also works with families of those living with mental health disorders. She provides support in special situations such as mental health hospitalization, power of attorney/guardianship, extreme psychosis, homelessness, and addiction. Lataya has coordinated and facilitated seminars, and training on various psychosocial and current topics. She has spoken at multiple conferences, regional meetings, and family/marriage seminars throughout America & the Caribbean. She serves as the Christian Education Director at her local church where she enjoys worshiping with her husband and two children.
