Cherry Lofton

Cherry Lofton is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and Montana. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. With a deep passion for guiding individuals toward healing and personal growth, Cherry brings a wealth of experience and specialized training to her practice. She is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained, MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) certified, and MRT (Moral Reconation Therapy) certified, equipping her to work effectively with a diverse range of clients. Cherry’s professional journey began in the corporate world, where she naturally gravitated toward mentoring and uplifting those around her. Transitioning into the counseling field, she has worked extensively in offender rehabilitation at Chemical Dependency Counseling, as well as counseling women, couples, those experiencing bereavement (grief), and ministerial couples and families. Beyond her professional work, Cherry has been an active member of her local church for over 35 years, serving as a leader in various capacities. She currently oversees the older singles group within her congregation. Her personal journey includes being happily married for 28 years, experiencing widowhood for 14 years, and now embracing a new chapter in recent new marriage. In her spare time, Cherry enjoys decorating, organizing, music, singing, and traveling with her family. A passionate builder—both of people and structures—she has successfully completed two 3,000-square-foot homes as a builder and general contractor. Cherry is affiliated with Growtherapy.com and Rula.com, which allow clients to use insurance. All other services are offered on a cash-only basis.
